I am an Instructional Designer & Trainer at Stanford University's School of Medicine. I design and lead learning experiences focusing on project management software used by research teams across the medical school to manage enrollment, track study events, create reports, and streamline financial processes.

Some of my main responsibilities include creating training videos, developing eLearning courses, and designing newsletters and webpages to support users. I also develop written instructions. Samples of design projects I've completed in my current role are included below.

User Resources & Training Webpage Redesign

Based on help ticket data, user compliance metrics, and interviews with stakeholders, I proposed the redesign of a resources and training website for users of an enterprise clinical research management system at Stanford University’s School of Medicine. Read more about my process here.

Articulate Training Prototype Sample

Enterprise Research Management System User eLearning

I commonly use Articulate 360 for developing trainings that are SCORM compliant and compatible with an LMS system. This video above provides a preview of a prototype sample I created using Rise 360. The training is intended for new users of a clinical research management system. The lessons in the course include text, images, videos, practice simulation exercises, and quiz questions.

Tableau New User Video Tutorial

I created the brief video tutorial above using PowerPoint and Camtasia to provide Division Chiefs and Department Chairs at Stanford's School of Medicine an introduction to the basic steps for using Tableau software for data visualizations made from data stored in the school's centralized research management system.

1-Page Tableau User Job Aid

The document above is a one-page cheat sheet I designed for Department Chairs and Division Chiefs at Stanford's School of Medicine to support their use of Tableau for data visualizations. The resource accompanied a brief training video to help staff in these roles access and use new reports made available to them.
